Mini Medics - First Aid Skills For Children

This is a basic introduction to First Aid and is aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 11, but it can suit children of any age. The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminology.

During this 3-hour workshop, children will help to learn first aid skills including: Definition of First Aid, First Aid kits, Important things to know about First Aid, Safety, Communication, Contacting the Emergency Services, DR ABC, CPR Defibrillation, The Recovery Position, Chocking, Asthma Wounds and Bleeding & Shock.
